A few days ago, I switched from Invoke AI to Fooocus, and man, what a breath of fresh air that has been! While I know my inexperience is largely to blame for all the problems I had with Invoke, Fooocus has been running like the best-oiled machine on my computer since I installed it. No more “Out of Memory” errors, no matter how big I make my images, no confusing settings, no slow rendering resulting in horrible images. I am NEVER going back to using Invoke again!
Just to make sure, I want to express my own inexperience as the main cause of my dislike for Invoke. It is amazing software, and in the right hands, it can do the most amazing things… but my hands are not the right hands… clearly. So, from now on, Fooocus is going to be my main tool for generative AI images. Here are a few silly examples of what I whipped up in the past few days…
Yeah, yeah, I know… I’ll try to generate fewer “girl in bikini on beach” images from now on…
